The Casper Recreation Center offers classes in a variety of areas throughout the year including: Health & Fitness; Sports & Martial Arts; Dance; Arts, Crafts, & Specialty, and Camps & Festivals for elementary age children during school breaks and holidays.
Registration Information
An Annual Recreation Pass entitles you to a discount on class registration fees. The first price listed is the fee without a Recreation Pass; the second price is the discounted price for Rec Center Members. Registration may be completed in person at 1801 East 4th St, by phone with a credit card at 235-8383, by mail, or online.
Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are available for youth of all ages, young adults age 18-21, and senior citizens ages 55 and up. These scholarships are made available by the Community Recreation Foundation, with funding assistance provided by fundraisers and public contributions.
Scholarship eligibility is based on income level and number of individuals in the family. Applications are available at the Casper Recreation Center Reception Counter. Each application is evaluated individually; there are no assurances of receiving a scholarship.
In order for the scholarship program to continue, public contributions are always needed. Interested donors may contact us at 235-8403 for more information.
Scholarship Policies
- If approved, the individual receives a 75% discounted fee in order to participate in a class or other recreation activity.
- There is a limit of one (1) scholarship per individual per quarter (3 month period) for a program (class, league, etc.). Value not to exceed $100.
- There is a limit of one (1) scholarship per individual per year for a facility annual or season pass (Recreation Center, Ice Arena, Aquatic Facility*). Value per pass not to exceed $100.
- *Participants have a choice of four (4) 3-month passes, two (2) 6-month passes, or one (1) annual pass.
- Scholarships are limited to individuals only. Groups and organizations are not eligible to apply.
